Job summary

Avery Dennison Greenfield, IN is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead a shift in safety, productivity and quality initiatives. The role focuses on coaching staff, enforcing standard work, and driving continuous improvement across processes and equipment.

You will oversee daily operations, manage performance, and support lean initiatives to optimize output. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in manufacturing leadership, a High School/GED, and preferably a bachelor's degree in operations or

Qualifications

• High School/GED required.
• Minimum of 3 years leadership, process improvement and supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of manufacturing operations systems and lean sigma tools.
• Ability to lead, coach and develop a diverse team; strong communication and time-management skills.
• Experience with continuous improvement programs (ELS/Kaizen) and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety as a top priority and enforce EHS policies.
• Provide shift leadership to meet safety, service, quality, productivity and inventory targets.
• Initiate and support operational improvements to enhance safety, engagement, quality and efficiency.
• Ensure standard operating procedures and housekeeping audits are followed; engage in problem solving and optimization projects.
• Oversee daily activities, conduct regular performance reviews, and foster team development.
