You will champion continuous improvement and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve manufacturing challenges.

The role emphasizes coaching, developing talent, and applying Lean Sigma tools to achieve operational targets while ensuring a high-performance culture on the plant floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, plus 3+ years in leadership in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, develop, and motivate a diverse team.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations systems, processes, technology, and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the 2nd shift finishing team to meet safety, service, quality, productivity, cost, and inventory targets.
• Champion Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) as a top priority and lead incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Develop and coach team members; collaborate across functions to troubleshoot equipment and processes.
• Drive manufacturing excellence through strict SOPs, standard work, cycle counts, quality standards, and safety/audit routines.
• Initiate, implement, and support Lean Sigma (ELS) continuous improvement and Kaizen events to optimize processes and reduce scrap.
• Oversee daily team development, coaching, and performance evaluations while coordinating with other functions.
