Avery Dennison is seeking a Finishing Team Manager to lead the 2nd shift finishing team at the Greenfield, Indiana facility. You will drive safety, quality, productivity, and cost improvements, while coaching team members and coordinating with cross-functional groups to resolve manufacturing challenges.

The role emphasizes Lean Sigma initiatives, SOP adherence, and a high-performance culture, with on-site responsibilities and a focus on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; at least 3 years in leadership and supervisory roles in manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Ability to lead, coach, develop, and motivate a diverse team.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations systems and SOPs; proven results through delegation.
• Experience with Lean Sigma (ELS) and lean tools; good communication.

Responsabilités

• Lead and supervise the 2nd shift finishing team to meet safety, quality, productivity, cost, and inventory targets.
• Champion Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) as a top priority and lead investigations and corrective actions.
• Drive manufacturing excellence through SOPs, standard work, cycle counts, and audits.
• Initiate and support Lean Sigma (ELS) continuous improvement activities and Kaizen events.
• Develop team members through coaching and cross-functional collaboration to resolve issues.
