EY is seeking a Finance Transformation professional to work with senior leaders in the Power & Utilities sector, delivering sustainable value through finance capability, program management, and transformative roadmaps.

The role covers operating model design, FP&A, outsourcing advisory, and finance systems with significant travel (60–80%). You will engage clients, lead sessions, and drive change across global finance functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (4-year).
• 2–4 years relevant consulting experience in power and utilities.
• Experience with P&U finance functions and SAP/Oracle/Power Plan.
• Experience in business case development.
• Knowledge of digital strategy.
• Awareness of finance compliance and regulation.
• Experience with finance transformation roadmaps and operating models.
• Commitment to finance sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Design finance operating models.
• Improve finance processes and control frameworks.
• Design and implement shared services and GBS.
• Provide outsourcing advisory.
• Lead FP&A activities across programs.
• Oversee finance systems and automation initiatives.
• Support financial close, consolidation and reporting.
• Conduct cost management and profitability analyses.
• Oversee procure-to-pay and record-to-report processes.
• Manage asset and project accounting.
• Understand CIS to GL flows and utility billing connections.
• Know utility rate structures and revenue models.
• Understand power transmission and distribution finance drivers.
• Align with FERC and GAAP reporting intersections.
• Define deliverables and manage timelines.
• Engage clients and lead working sessions.
• Travel 60-80% as needed.
