Job summary

EY is seeking a Finance Transformation professional to help energy clients transform their finance function. You will work with senior leadership on operating model design, FP&A, and finance systems improvements as part of a global, diverse team.

The role involves significant travel (60-80%), engagement with clients, and delivering sustainable value through process optimization and digital strategies. A 4-year degree and 2–4 years in consulting are typical prerequisites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2–4 years consulting experience in power & utilities preferred.
• Experience with P&U finance functions and applications like SAP/Oracle/PowerPlan.
• Ability to develop business cases and digital strategies.
• Familiarity with finance compliance and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Finance operating model design and optimization.
• Finance processes improvement and FP&A support.
• Shared services design and implementation.
• Outsourcing advisory and cost management.
• Procur e-to-pay and record-to-report optimization.
• Engage with clients and lead working sessions; travel 60–80% as needed.
