EY is seeking a Finance Transformation professional to help energy and utility clients transform finance functions from planning to reporting. You will blend finance expertise with program and change-management skills to deliver sustainable value and improvements across operating models, FP&A, and automation.

The role emphasizes client engagement, delivering insights, and leading working sessions with senior leadership, with substantial travel to meet client needs.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; typically 2–4 years in consulting with power and utilities experience.
Experience with P&U finance functions and applications such as SAP, Oracle, and Power Plan.
Strong business case development and digital strategy capabilities.
Understanding of finance regulation and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

Finance operating model design and process improvements.
Shared services design and implementation; outsourcing advisory.
FP&A, finance systems, and intelligent automation initiatives.
Cost management, profitability analysis, and close/reporting activities.
Proactive client engagement, leading sessions and tracking timelines.
Travel up to 60–80% to meet client needs.
