Job summary

EY is seeking a Finance Transformation professional to join our Power and Utilities-focused team. You will work with senior leadership at P&U clients to support energy transformation through Sustainable Finance, blending finance capability with program and change management to deliver sustainable value.

You will design finance operating models, improve processes, and lead FP&A, consolidation, and reporting initiatives, with 60-80% travel to meet client needs and opportunities to expand service

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 2–4 years consulting experience in power & utilities.
• Experience with P&U finance functions and applications (SAP, Oracle, Power Plan).
• Ability to develop business cases and digital strategy, with risk awareness.
• Knowledge of finance governance, compliance and transformation roadmaps.
• Strong relationship-building, communication and analytical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Finance operating model design and processes improvement.
• Shared services and outsourcing advisory engagement.
• FP&A, financial close, consolidation, and reporting.
• Cost management, profitability analysis, and procurement-to-pay processes.
• Engage with clients, lead sessions, and manage project timelines.
