Job summary

Human Interest, a high-growth fintech focused on expanding retirement benefits, seeks a Financial Systems Manager to own NetSuite and the connected finance tech stack. You will drive automation, ensure data integrity, and partner with Accounting, FP&A, and Engineering to scale systems as we grow.

You will collaborate with data teams on a finance data mart, contribute to SOX readiness, and implement AI-driven improvements to improve efficiency and controls.

Qualifications

• Roughly 6-8 years of experience in financial systems with hands-on NetSuite administration
• Solid understanding of core accounting and finance processes and how systems support them
• Experience with connected finance systems and integrating them with NetSuite
• Strong knowledge of APIs, middleware, and reliable integrations/automation
• Experience applying AI to finance workflows and building toward an AI-forward function
• Strong project management skills and cross-functional leadership
• Familiar with Jira for work intake and tracking
• Excellent communication and collaboration across functions and vendors
• Self-starter with ownership and strategic recommendations

Responsibilities

• Serve as lead NetSuite administrator, configurations, maintenance, and optimization
• Own health of finance tech stack and integrations (Ramp, Coupa, Avalara, Stripe, FloQast, Pigment)
• Speed up month/quarter close via automation and tooling
• Collaborate with Accounting, FP&A, Procurement, Data Eng, and Product Eng to translate needs into scalable solutions
• Manage system requests via ticketing system and ensure transparency
• Lead system implementations, upgrades, and change management
• Identify AI-driven and automation opportunities to reduce manual work and improve data quality
• Evaluate and automate brittle integrations for reliability and scale
• Support finance data mart and dashboards with data governance practices
• Contribute to SOX readiness and audit documentation
• Set standards and best practices for financial systems
