Job summary

Human Interest Inc. seeks a Financial Systems Manager to own NetSuite and the connected finance stack, partnering with Accounting, FP&A, Procurement, and Engineering to scale systems for a public-ready finance function.

You will lead a small team, drive automation, maintain data integrity, support SOX controls, and enable AI-driven enhancements across core finance processes. The role is remote within the U.S., with collaboration across time zones including SF.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of experience in financial systems with deep hands-on NetSuite administration.
• Strong understanding of month-end close, procure-to-pay, order-to-cash and record-to-report.
• Experience with connected finance systems and API integrations in a SaaS/fintech context.

Responsibilities

• Own NetSuite administration, configuration, and optimization across COA, workflows, and reports.
• Maintain health of the finance tech stack and integrations ensuring clean data flows.
• Accelerate month-end/quarter-end close through automation and tooling like FloQast.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives translating business needs into scalable system solutions.
• Identify AI-driven automation to reduce manual work and improve data quality.
• Support SOX controls, access reviews, and change-management documentation.
• Partner with Data Engineering and Product Engineering to enable finance reporting.
• Manage system requests with a ticketing system to keep work tracked and transparent.
