Job summary

Human Interest is seeking a Financial Systems Manager to own NetSuite and the connected finance tech stack. You’ll partner with Accounting, FP&A, Procurement, and Engineering to translate business needs into scalable, automated finance systems and controls. This role is remote within the U.S.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of experience in financial systems with hands-on NetSuite administration.
• Strong understanding of core accounting processes and how systems support them.
• Experience with Ramp, Coupa, Avalara, Stripe, FloQast; integrating with NetSuite.
• Familiarity with APIs and middleware; building reliable integrations and automations.
• Experience applying AI to finance workflows and driving an AI-forward finance function.
• Proven project management skills and cross-functional collaboration.
• Proficient with Jira for workflow management.
• Excellent communication and self-starting attitude; SaaS/fintech experience valued.

Responsibilities

• Serve as lead NetSuite administrator and SME for the finance tech stack.
• Own and optimize integrations with Ramp, Coupa, Avalara, Stripe, FloQast, Pigment.
• Streamline month-end/quarter-end close via automation and FloQast.
• Collaborate with Accounting, FP&A, Data Eng, and Product Eng to translate needs into scalable solutions.
• Manage system requests via a ticketing system to keep work transparent.
• Lead end-to-end system implementations, upgrades, and changes.
• Identify AI-driven automation to reduce manual effort and improve data quality.
• Partner with data team on a finance data mart and connected reporting.
• Support SOX controls, access reviews, and change-management docs.
• Set standards and best practices for financial systems.
