Job summary

Qualifications

• Understanding of various business office processes, enrollment processes, financial aid guidelines to provide student assistance
• Knowledge of forms and software used in regular operations procedures
• Compliant with policies and laws; supports the college vision and goals
• Can clearly represent own area of responsibility and seek new knowledge/tools
• Maintains positive customer relations and responds to inquiries efficiently
• Able to gather, compile and analyze data and prepare reports
• Detail oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Clear communication of performance expectations, roles, and objectives
• Sound judgment in decision-making and integrity in dealings with stakeholders
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work with a diverse college community

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounts receivable operations including budgeting, purchasing, and policy updates
• Research and analyze accounting, cash management, refunds, and tuition payments problems and propose solutions
• Build relationships across departments and with external partners
• Lead and mentor staff, promoting growth and inclusive work environment
• Ensure compliance with college policies and state/federal regulations
• Use data and reporting to inform decision-making and drive improvements
• Lead projects to improve financial operations and support college goals
• Manage communications with internal and external stakeholders
