Dallas College seeks an Assistant Director of Financial Services to lead external billing, AR, and collections, driving revenue cycle performance and cash flow. You will supervise a team, partner across departments, and implement process improvements leveraging Workday and other ERP systems.

The role emphasizes strategic leadership, data-driven decisions, and a focus on customer service and fiscal accountability within a mission-driven higher education setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Business, or related field.
• Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience.
• Five to seven years in accounts receivable, billing, collections, or revenue cycle management.

Responsabilités

• Provide leadership for external billing, sponsorship billing, collections, and AR.
• Develop strategies to improve collections and reduce aging.
• Forecast receivable performance and report to leadership.
• Oversee cash receipt and reconciliation activities.
• Ensure invoices meet sponsor requirements and are properly documented.
• Lead continuous improvement and automation in the revenue cycle.
