Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a Manager, Solution Delivery within its Finance Operate practice to grow Controllership / Record-to-Report managed services for the Energy, Resources & Industrials sector in the US. You will shape client solutions, support sales pursuits, coordinate mobilization, and lead delivery with senior leaders.

You will leverage accounting expertise, managed services experience, and strong leadership to drive efficiency, controls, and reporting improvements for Fortune 500 clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, controllership, record-to-report operations, or finance transformation.
• 6+ years of experience in managed services, shared services, outsourced delivery, or finance operations.
• 6+ years of experience working within the Energy, Resources & Industrials Industry or serving Energy, Resources & Industrials clients.
• Experience supporting or leading solutioning, transition, mobilization, or delivery for finance managed services.
• Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
• Preferred: Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; Active CPA license; ERP/finance technology experience (SAP, Oracle, Workday, BlackLine, OneStream); experience with process improvement or service delivery transformation; 12+ years in finance, controllership, managed services, or solution delivery.

Responsibilities

• Architect and shape managed services solutions for Controllership / Record-to-Report opportunities within the Energy, Resources & Industrials Industry.
• Lead business development activities, sales pursuits, proposal development, client presentations, pre-request for proposal materials, and request for proposal responses for Finance Operate opportunities.
• Manage Finance Operate deal flow for the Energy, Resources & Industrials sector, including pipeline visibility, opportunity qualification, pursuit prioritization, solution coordination, and handoff to mobilization and delivery teams.
• Lead or support engagement mobilization and ongoing delivery, including governance setup, transition planning, service management, issue resolution, and operational reporting.
• Drive continuous improvement, standardization, automation, and technology enablement across finance operations engagements.
