Job summary

Crusoe is seeking a Director of Construction & Data Center Operations Finance to own the financial oversight of capital projects from groundbreaking to live operation. You will integrate Construction, Project Finance, and Accounting to manage budgets, draw schedules, and reporting for multiple data-center builds.

The role requires deep experience in construction finance and operating-facilities costs, with a strong emphasis on partnering with Treasury, Legal, and Procurement to optimize terms

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience spanning construction finance, project controls, capital projects accounting, or project finance.
• Managed construction budgets, cost reporting, and draw processes on large capital projects (typically $100M+).
• Familiarity with GC/EPC contract structures, change orders, risk allocation.
• Experience managing operating budgets and cost performance for live facilities (data centers or mission-critical assets).
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills; able to build cost-tracking tools for build and operate phases.

Responsibilities

• Own budgeting and cost control across construction budgets and TIC estimates.
• Ensure spend aligns with loan/equity funding covenants and project milestones.
• Review GC/EPC contracts and major vendor agreements for financial terms and risk.
• Maintain portfolio-level view of costs, schedules, and funding for leadership and lenders.
• Handoff construction to operations financially, including depreciation considerations and asset turnover.
