Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a Manager for Finance M&A within its PEPI Practice in Boston. The role requires 5–8+ years of F&A experience, including M&A exposure, to support pre-deal to post-deal activities and deliver value across private equity engagements.

The team focuses on integration, due diligence, and operating model design, with opportunities for leadership and advancement within a growing PE-focused group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business/Management required.
• 5+ years of managing and executing finance or accounting operations.
• M&A accounting, financial diligence experience preferred (3–5+ years).
• MBA with Finance concentration or CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support full spectrum of finance and accounting operations during deals.
• Coordinate finance and accounting integration across sub-functions.
• Own the integration plan and drive cross-functional teams.
• Analyze target company historical data for trends and diligence.
• Engage with client contacts including C-suite and board.
• Design interim and future-state operating model for Finance.
