Alvarez & Marsal seeks a Finance & M&A Manager for its PEPI practice in the Washington, DC area. You will support pre- and post-deal finance operations, coordinate cross-functional integration, and lead a team through Day-1 readiness and future-state design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business/Management is required.
• 5+ years in F&A or M&A with exposure to private equity context.
• Strong communication and leadership for cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Support Day-1 readiness across F&A sub-functions.
• Coordinate chart of accounts and policy alignment.
• Manage cross-functional finance integration (Revenue/AR, Expenditures/AP, Month-end).
• Own integration plan and lead a cross-functional team.
• Engage functional teams through M&A processes and ensure timely deliverables.
• Assist in business initiatives during integration period.
• Analyze target historical data for trends and diligence support.
• Collaborate with Target on financial/tax information.
• Build interim and future-state operating model for Finance.
