Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a Finance & Accounting Manager for the Private Equity Performance Improvement (PEPI) M&A practice in the United States. You will support the full spectrum of F&A operations during deal lifecycle, including Day‑1 planning, integration, and post‑deal activities.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in F&A with strong M&A exposure, treasury, internal controls/audit, FP&A, and controllership.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience managing teams in finance or accounting.
• Strong executive communication and collaboration with C-suite.
• Experience with GAAP, controllership, FP&A and treasury.
• MBA or CPA is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support Day‑1 readiness across F&A sub-functions.
• Map Chart of Accounts and align accounting policies.
• Coordinate finance & accounting integration (AR, Revenue, Expenses).
• Lead the integration plan with cross-functional leaders and stakeholders.
• Engage with client contacts and provide clear, timely updates.
• Assist in executing business initiatives during integration.
