Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) seeks a Manager for Finance M&A within the Private Equity Performance Improvement (PEPI) practice. The role focuses on pre- and post-deal finance and accounting integrations for PE-backed portfolios, including day-1 readiness, chart of accounts alignment, and cross-functional coordination.

A strong candidate will have 5–8+ years in F&A with exposure to M&A and private equity clients, and will collaborate with C-suite and board-level contacts to enable seamless deal

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of experience in F&A; M&A experience required.
• Depth in treasury, financial diligence, internal controls/audit, FP&A, or controllership beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support Day-1 readiness across F&A sub-functions.
• Coordinate finance/system integration during deals with cross-functional teams.
• Own the integration plan and drive execution with a multidisciplinary team.
• Engage client stakeholders at all levels with clear communication and leadership.
