Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal in New York seeks an F&A Director for the PEPI M&A practice to guide finance and accounting integration across deals. You will bring 10+ years of experience, including private equity diligence and post‑deal value realization.

You will interact with C‑suite and Boards, coordinate across Finance, Tax, and Audit, and lead multi‑disciplinary teams to ensure Day‑1 readiness and future‑state operating models.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business required.
• 10+ years in Finance & Accounting, with M&A experience preferred.
• Strong exposure to private equity clients and deal lifecycle.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex integrations.

Responsibilities

• Support Day‑1 readiness and post‑deal integration across F&A functions.
• Coordinate Chart of Accounts mapping and close/report calendars.
• Lead an integration plan with cross‑functional leaders and external parties.
• Engage with clients at C‑suite and Board levels, ensuring on‑time deliverables.
• Design interim and future‑state operating models for Finance.
