Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a F&A Manager for its PEPI M&A practice in the US. The role focuses on pre/post-deal finance and accounting, corporate finance integration, and advisory support for PE clients and portfolio companies.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in F&A, M&A diligence, GAAP knowledge, and a strong leadership and communication track record. Travel and cross-functional collaboration are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required in Accounting/Finance/Business.
• 5+ years in Finance/Accounting operations with integrations or transformations.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and purchase accounting understanding.
• MBA with Finance or CPA preferred.
• Top-tier advisory firm or Big-4 experience preferred.
• 3-5+ years in M&A accounting/financial due diligence.

Responsibilities

• Support Day-1 readiness across F&A sub-functions.
• Map Chart of Accounts and close/report calendars for management and statutory purposes.
• Coordinate finance integration (Revenue/AR, Expenditures/AP, Payroll, Treasury, FP&A).
• Own the integration plan and lead cross-functional teams.
• Engage with client teams and maintain timely deliverables.
• Assist in executing business initiatives during integration.
