Job summary

DLA Piper is seeking a Knowledge Management Counsel – Finance to own the KM and innovation function, drive adoption, and deliver measurable impact across the Finance practice. This senior, independently operating professional partners with leadership to translate finance needs into AI-enabled solutions.

You will develop AI workflows, curate precedents, run training programs for attorneys and clients, and coordinate with international teams to ensure a consistent, high-value knowledge base.

Qualifications

• JD from ABA-accredited law school and active state bar admission.
• 10+ years’ experience in Finance Law plus KM/innovation experience.
• Ability to translate practice needs into AI-enabled solutions and practical guidance for attorneys.

Responsibilities

• Formulates and updates the Finance KM and innovation plan in consultation with leadership and partners.
• Collaborates with Finance partners to solicit ideas for legal innovation and translate into AI-enabled solutions.
• Develops Finance-specific AI workflows, prompts, agents, playbooks, and knowledge resources.
• Advises Finance attorneys on optimal AI tool selection for workflows and matter stages.
• Designs KM projects and initiatives to improve efficiency, AI adoption, and knowledge assets.
• Maintains Finance-specific forms, precedents, and knowledge assets.
• Delivers KM/innovation training for Finance attorneys and clients.
