Job summary
DLA Piper seeks a Knowledge Management Counsel – Finance to own the KM and innovation function, driving AI adoption and cross-border initiatives. This senior role collaborates with practice leadership and may supervise staff, delivering measurable impact across the Finance practice.
The role blends Finance law expertise with AI-enabled knowledge management, developing workflows, playbooks, and knowledge assets while guiding attorneys on tool selection and practical deployments.
Qualifications
- JD from ABA accredited law school. Admission to state bar.
- 10+ years’ experience in Finance Law with KM and legal practice innovation experience.
- Strong knowledge of Finance law workflows and ability to translate needs into AI-enabled solutions.
Responsibilities
- Formulates and updates the Finance KM and innovation plan in consultation with leadership.
- Collaborates with Finance lawyers to solicit and translate ideas into AI-enabled solutions.
- Develops Finance-specific AI workflows, prompts, agents, playbooks, and knowledge resources.
- Advises on optimal AI tool selection for workflows and matter stages.
- Designs KM projects driving improvements in efficiency, AI adoption, and knowledge sharing.
- Maintains Finance-specific forms, precedents, and knowledge assets.
- Delivers KM and innovation training for Finance attorneys and clients.
- Captures market trends and opportunities for thought leadership.
- Coordinates with international colleagues on cross-border Finance projects.
