Job summary
DLA Piper seeks a Knowledge Management Counsel – Finance to own the KM and innovation function within the Finance practice. This senior role leads AI-enabled knowledge projects and collaborates across offices to deliver measurable improvements in efficiency and practice support.
The role requires extensive Finance law expertise, strong AI/tech fluency, and leadership with partners. Hybrid US-based position with broad cross-border collaboration.
Qualifications
- JD from ABA accredited law school and bar admission.
- Minimum 10+ years’ experience in Finance Law with KM and legal-innovation experience.
- Strong knowledge of Finance law workflows and ability to translate needs into AI-enabled solutions.
Responsibilities
- Formulates and updates the Finance KM and innovation plan with practice leadership and partners.
- Collaborates with Finance attorneys to solicit ideas for legal innovation and translate into AI-enabled solutions.
- Develops Finance-specific AI workflows, prompts, agents, playbooks, and knowledge resources.
- Advises Finance attorneys on optimal AI tool selection for workflows and matters.
- Ideates, designs, and executes KM projects driving improvements in efficiency, AI adoption, and knowledge assets.
- Coordinates with international colleagues on cross-border Finance projects.
- Ambassador for the KM Team within the Finance practice.
