Job summary

DLA Piper is seeking a senior Knowledge Management Counsel – Finance to lead the KM and innovation function within the Finance practice. This role combines Finance law insight with AI-enabled initiatives, driving adoption, efficiency, and measurable impact across offices and jurisdictions.

The role requires extensive KM leadership, collaboration with partners, and the ability to coordinate cross-border projects while aligning with firm strategy and clients' needs.

Qualifications

• JD from ABA-accredited law school and admission to state bar.
• Minimum 10+ years in Finance Law with KM/innovation experience.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently formulates and regularly assesses Finance KM and innovation plan in consultation with practice leadership and partners.
• Collaborates with Finance lawyers as primary contact to solicit ideas for legal innovation and translate into AI-enabled solutions.
• Develops Finance-specific AI workflows, prompts, agents, playbooks, and knowledge resources.
• Advises Finance attorneys on optimal AI tool selection for workflows and matter stages.
