Job summary

AbbVie Inc. is seeking a Business Human Resources (BHR) manager for Finance to partner with leaders, shaping culture and delivering HR programs that support AbbVie’s objectives and impact patients globally.

You will align people strategies with business plans and drive capabilities across assigned finance functions. You will coach leaders on succession planning, work with Talent Acquisition to attract and retain talent, and deliver analytic talent reports using tools like 360 assessments and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• 6+ years of HR experience.
• Knowledge of regulations and standards affecting the business; strong business acumen.
• Experience with competency models and assessment tools such as 360 assessment and Thomas PPA talent tool.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills in a complex environment.
• Project management or business experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as day-to-day strategic HR partner to several key Finance businesses.
• Coach, consult, and influence the business leaders on leadership development and succession planning.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition to attract, develop and retain talent meeting current and future business needs.
• Ensure the effective delivery of all HR programs and measure HR results in the business.
• Establish relationships with key HR partners across Centers of Excellence and Service Centers to coordinate HR elements.
• Provide consultation on organization design and effectiveness to improve performance.
• Drive people manager development and foster high engagement, performance, diversity and inclusion.
• Facilitate and model change; develop communication strategies aligned with priorities.
