Job summary

Republic Finance is offering an on-site Branch Operations Internship for current Junior or Senior students pursuing a degree in Business or Finance. You will learn day-to-day branch functions, sales and customer service, and loan processing while gaining exposure to the broader organization and potential full-time opportunities after graduation.

The program pays $15.00 per hour and includes hands-on experience with real-world projects.

Qualifications

• Must be a Junior or Senior majoring in Business, Finance, or related field.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Able to work a minimum of 18-20 hours per week.
• Willingness to learn and be reliable.

Responsibilities

• Become licensed and go through an accelerated version of the Assistant Branch Manager Program to learn the loan process and regulatory training.
• Assist in daily production of loan origination, processing, closings and fundings including allocating files for doc prep; auditing closed files; prep files ready to fund.
• Spend time with your Manager and Regional Vice President learning responsibilities at their levels to understand the promotional path to see what your career potential is with Republic Finance.
• Attend regional meetings and/or workshops to gain exposure to the larger Branch Operations division of the company.
• Learn about one or more Branch Operations process improvement related projects.
• Learn about corporate roles where Branch backgrounds are often strongly desired; overview of our benefits during the program.
