Job summary

Republic Finance, LLC is seeking Branch Operations Interns in an onsite program designed for current college juniors and seniors with a focus in Finance or Business. You will learn daily branch operations, sales and customer service approaches, and participate in compliance training, loan closings, and potential leadership projects.

The internship includes hands-on experience, exposure to cross-department initiatives, and a path toward full-time employment after graduation.

Qualifications

• Must be a Junior or Senior majoring in Business, Finance, or related field.
• Ideal candidates will be eager to learn, enthusiastic, and reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Must have the ability to work a minimum of 18-20 hours per week.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Must meet acceptable standards for criminal background history, credit history and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Eligibility for insurance licensing based on background checks.

Responsibilities

• Become licensed and go through an accelerated version of the Assistant Branch Manager Program to learn the loan process and regulatory training.
• Assist in daily production of loan origination, processing, closings and fundings including allocating files for doc prep; auditing closed files; prep files ready to fund.
• Spend time with Manager and Regional Vice President to understand promotional paths and career potential.
• Attend regional meetings/workshops to gain exposure to the Branch Operations division.
• Learn about branch operations process improvement projects and corporate roles like Audit, Compliance, Training, Recruiting.
• Overview of benefits during the program.
