Job summary

BDO USA, LLP is seeking a Project Manager for Finance Business Intelligence to own and drive portfolio visibility, track milestones, and surface risks for leadership. You will coordinate across finance, operations, and data engineering teams to ensure timely delivery of initiatives and maintain accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; focus in Finance, Information Systems, or Business preferred.
• 5–8 years of experience as a project manager, business analyst, project coordinator, or similar role, with demonstrated experience monitoring and reporting on project portfolios, required.
• Experience managing project intake, backlogs, or sprints using Azure DevOps or a similar work-tracking tool, required.
• Experience working with ITSM/ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, preferred.
• Experience working in finance, accounting, or a professional services environment, preferred.
• PMP or CAPM, CBAP or similar business analysis certification, Scrum Master or Agile Certified Practitioner, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Owns day-to-day monitoring of the Finance BI project portfolio, ensuring timelines, milestones, and deliverables are consistently tracked and visible to stakeholders and leadership.
• Maintains the team's Project Tracker as the single source of truth, ensuring priorities, statuses, owners, and timelines are accurate and up to date at all times.
• Provides regular, concise project status updates to the Finance BI Leader and stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and decisions needed.
• Proactively identifies, escalates, and helps unblock project impediments by coordinating with developers, data engineering, finance, and other cross-functional partners.
• Monitors dependencies and timelines across concurrent projects to flag conflicts or resourcing risks before they affect delivery.
• Facilitates communication and collaboration among project team members and stakeholders to ensure a shared understanding of objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
• Conducts post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and improve future delivery practices.
