Job summary

BDO USA is seeking a Project Manager, Finance BI to own project monitoring and portfolio visibility for the Finance BI team, ensuring that every initiative’s status, risks, and blockers are tracked and clearly communicated to leadership. This role drives issues to resolution and maintains the Project Tracker and Azure DevOps sprints.

The ideal candidate partners with stakeholders to elicit requirements, manage intake and ServiceNow tickets, and keep the Data Catalog and process documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, required; focus in Finance, Information Systems, or Business, preferred

Responsibilities

• Owns day-to-day monitoring of the Finance BI project portfolio, ensuring timelines, milestones, and deliverables are consistently tracked and visible to stakeholders and leadership
• Maintains the team’s Project Tracker as the single source of truth, ensuring priorities, statuses, owners, and timelines are accurate and up to date at all times
• Provides regular, concise project status updates to the Finance BI Leader and stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and decisions needed
• Proactively identifies, escalates, and helps unblock project impediments by coordinating with developers, data engineering, finance, and other cross-functional partners
• Monitors dependencies and timelines across concurrent projects to flag conflicts or resourcing risks before they affect delivery
• Facilitates communication and collaboration among project team members and stakeholders to ensure a shared understanding of objectives, timelines, and deliverables
• Conducts post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and improve future delivery practices
