Job summary

BDO USA is seeking a Project Manager for Finance BI who will own project monitoring and portfolio visibility, ensuring statuses, risks, and blockers are clearly communicated to leadership. You will maintain the Project Tracker and Azure DevOps sprints, surface risks, and drive issues to resolution.

You will partner with stakeholders to elicit requirements, manage intake and ServiceNow tickets, and keep the Data Catalog and process docs accurate.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; focus in Finance, Information Systems, or Business preferred.
5–8 years of experience as a project manager, business analyst, project coordinator, or similar role with portfolio monitoring experience.
Experience managing intake, backlogs, or sprints using Azure DevOps or similar tools; ITSM familiarity with ServiceNow preferred.
Experience in finance, accounting, or professional services is preferred.

Responsibilities

Own day-to-day monitoring of the Finance BI project portfolio; track timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
Maintain the Project Tracker as the single source of truth; ensure priorities, statuses, owners, and timelines are up to date.
Translate business needs into user stories and acceptance criteria for Azure DevOps; validate solutions and support UAT.
Manage request intake, triage incoming work, and route details; oversee DevOps sprints and backlog hygiene.
Manage ServiceNow tickets related to Finance BI; monitor intake volume and aging items for prioritization.
Maintain documentation and knowledge assets, including the Data Catalog and training materials.
