Job summary

RAS Logistics is hiring an Operations Manager to lead day-to-day final mile delivery operations across the Richmond, VA region. You will manage a team of supervisors and contractors, drive efficiency, and ensure superior customer satisfaction through executional excellence.

The role requires strong leadership, analytics, and communication skills, with experience in DOT/safety compliance and a proven ability to scale operations in high-volume environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in operations/logistics management.
• Experience with final mile/home delivery preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily delivery operations including routing and dispatch.
• Manage contractor relationships and ensure safety/standards.
• Monitor KPIs: on-time delivery, customer satisfaction, claims, productivity.
• Recruit, onboard and train delivery contractors and support staff.
• Oversee scheduling, route planning and inventory with warehouse team.
• Resolve escalated delivery issues and customer complaints promptly.
