Job summary

Verizon is seeking a sales professional to drive territory growth in Chico, CA. You will identify leads, close deals, and expand an existing customer base while leveraging Verizon’s suite of solutions, including cloud, security, and connectivity services.

This is a mobile, field-based role with travel and a competitive commission component. The role requires at least a bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of relevant work experience, strong communication skills, and a proven track record in

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Four or more years of outside sales, prospecting and negotiation experience.
Willingness to work in a mobile model with travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

Identify, develop and qualify leads to drive sales through cold-calling, partner selling and social selling.
Gain new business and incremental revenue to meet sales targets.
Retain, manage and grow the existing customer base.
Coordinate with support partners to educate customers on innovative business solutions.
Establish and maintain relationships with key decision makers.
Present and position multi-product solutions including Cloud, Security, ISP, VoIP and Google platforms.
Track progress using sales force automation tools.
