Job summary

ACRT Pacific, LLC is seeking experienced Contract Utility Foresters to identify, inspect, and evaluate trees along utility lines. You will submit results with recommendations and coordinate line-clearance crews.

This role requires independent work across a geographical area and effective communication with stakeholders and customers. Applicants should have forestry or related degrees, or equivalent experience, and be comfortable with varied terrain and schedules, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Two- or four-year forestry, Environmental Science, Natural Resources degree or related field OR high school diploma/GED plus two years of UVM experience.
• Vegetation management experience preferred.
• ISA Arborist certification preferred.
• Competent with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with GIS data collection software/hardware preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify, inspect, and evaluate trees and brush along utility lines.
• Submit inspection results with recommendations to clients.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate activities of assigned tree clearance crews.
• Discuss and negotiate line-clearance crew access issues.
• Serve as liaison between clients, tree crews, and client customers.
