ACRT, Inc. is seeking energetic professionals for a Consulting Utility Forester position.

Open to entry level and seasoned candidates with a forestry-related education and with experience in line clearance and vegetation management. Responsibilities include identifying and evaluating trees along utility lines, submitting inspection results with recommendations, and coordinating activities of line-clearing crews.

Qualifications

• 2/4 year degree in forestry, horticulture, environmental science or related field OR high school diploma with 2 years of Utility Vegetation Management experience.
• Vegetation management experience preferred.
• ISA Arborist/TRAQ/ISA Utility Specialist preferred.
• Competent with Microsoft Office Suite.
• GIS experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Identify, inspect, and evaluate trees and brush along utility lines.
• Submit inspection results with recommendations to clients.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate activities of assigned line-clearance crews.
• Discuss and negotiate crew access with stakeholders.
• Serve as liaison between clients, tree crews, and customer contacts.
