Job summary

ACRT, Inc. is seeking a Consulting Utility Forester (CUF) to identify and inspect trees along utility lines and coordinate field crews. You will submit inspection results with clear client recommendations and help manage prescribed work.

The role emphasizes outdoors work, attention to detail, and strong communication. Candidates should have some utility experience, an associate degree in forestry-related field, and a valid driver's license, with ISA certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Forestry, Horticulture or related field.
• Two years of related utility experience; must be 21 years of age or older; valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and identify trees along utility lines and submit inspection results with recommendations.
• Plan, direct and coordinate activities of assigned tree clearance crews.
• Enter prescriptions into handheld devices and notify property owners of work per client specifications.
• Maintain compliance with regulations and client vegetation management standards.
• Assist with storm restoration efforts and emergency response as required.
