Job summary

ACRT, Inc. is seeking energetic professionals for a Consulting Utility Forester role, ideal for entry level to seasoned forestry, horticulture, or environmental science graduates and those with related field experience.

You will identify and evaluate trees along utility lines, submit inspection results with recommendations, and coordinate vegetation clearance crews while liaising with clients, line crews, and customers.

Qualifications

• 2 year or 4 year degree in forestry, horticulture, environmental science or closely related field or high school diploma with 2 years of related experience.
• Vegetation management experience preferred.
• ISA Certified Arborist/TRAQ/ISA Utility Specialist preferred.
• Competent with Microsoft Office; GIS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify, inspect, and evaluate trees and vegetation along utility lines.
• Submit inspection results to clients with actionable recommendations.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate activities of assigned tree clearance crews.
• Discuss and negotiate line-clearance crew access issues with stakeholders.
• Serve as liaison between clients, tree crews, and client customers.
