Job summary

ACRT, Inc. seeks a Consulting Utility Forester (CUF) I to inspect and evaluate trees along utility lines and coordinate tree clearance crews. The role emphasizes outdoor work, attention to detail, and strong communication with clients and crews in a safety-conscious setting.

You will use handheld systems for work prescriptions, coordinate with property owners, and support storm restoration efforts while complying with regulatory standards. Training opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Forestry, Horticulture or related field.
• Two years of related utility experience preferred; valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and evaluate trees and brush along utility lines with recommendations.
• Plan, direct and coordinate activities of assigned tree clearance crews.
• Enter work and prescriptions into handheld systems and notify property owners.
• Manage issuance and progress of work; assist with storm restoration.
