Job summary

ACRT, Inc. is seeking energetic Forester specialists to inspect and evaluate vegetation along utility corridors. You will report findings to clients with actionable recommendations and coordinate crews across a geographic area.

Qualified candidates have forestry-related degrees or equivalent experience; ISA Arborist certification is preferred. The role offers a comprehensive benefits package and a company vehicle for field work in Rapid City, SD area.

Qualifications

• Degree in Forestry, Biology, Natural Resources, Environmental Science or related field, or HS diploma with 2 years of related experience.
• ISA Certified Arborist certification preferred.
• Vegetation management experience preferred.
• Competent with Microsoft Office; GIS data collection experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify, inspect, and evaluate trees and brush along utility lines.
• Submit inspection results to clients with recommendations.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate activities of assigned line-clearance crews.
• Discuss and negotiate crew access issues; liaison between clients, crews, and customers.
