Job summary

ACRT, Inc. is seeking a Consulting Utility Forester to inspect trees along utility lines, coordinate tree clearance crews, and provide client-ready inspection results and recommendations.

The role emphasizes outdoor work, attention to detail, and strong interpersonal communication with clients and contractors. Candidate should have an Associates Degree in Forestry or related field, ISA Arborist certification preferred, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Forestry, Horticulture or related field.
• ISA Arborist Certification preferred.
• Ability to learn company software and field mapping tools.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and evaluate trees along utility lines and report findings with recommendations.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate activities of tree clearance crews.
• Identify local trees and understand growth rates for circuit mapping.
• Enter trimming prescriptions into handheld or field systems and notify property owners.
• Assist with storm restoration and emergency response as needed.
• Maintain compliance with state, local, and client requirements.
