Job summary

Pella Windows & Doors of the Carolinas and Southwest Virginia is seeking a Trade Sales Representative to build and maintain relationships with new and returning clients, understanding customer needs, and aligning Pella products with their vision.

The role focuses on driving growth in the territory by prospecting trade customers, managing full sales cycles, and presenting customized solutions to builders, contractors, and remodeling professionals.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years outside sales experience in B2B, construction industry, or related field preferred.
• Must meet driver qualifications and maintain insurability.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Comfort working in the field at active job sites, customer visits, and industry events.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with builders, contractors, and remodeling professionals.
• Prospect and acquire new trade customers to grow territory.
• Consult and sell solutions—deliver presentations, proposals, and quotes.
• Manage sales cycles from start to finish, including site visits and blueprint reviews.
• Represent Pella at industry events and trade shows.
• Utilize Salesforce to track sales activities, manage leads, and analyze performance metrics.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
