Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a field-based sales professional responsible for executing brand strategy and tactics within a designated territory. Candidates should reside within a reasonable distance from the primary city and be hired at a level commensurate with experience.

You will manage territory performance, build strong relationships with accounts, and solve customer needs to maximize short- and long-term sales while adhering to AbbVie’s code of conduct and all applicable laws and regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy or business-related field preferred or relevant and equivalent industry experience required.
• At least five (5) years of experience with three (3) or more years in pharmaceutical/health/science industry preferred; HS diploma/GED required.
• Proven leadership and strong presentation skills; good business acumen and strategic thinking.

Responsibilities

• Deliver sales performance and meet brand KPIs, financial targets, and marketing objectives.
• Create and execute pre-call plans and post-call evaluations to improve sales performance.
• Develop call plans to maximize access and opportunities with key customers.
• Differentiate AbbVie’s value proposition through experts and speakers to maximize brand performance.
• Share market intelligence with in-field and brand teams to align strategies.
