Job summary

Victaulic is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to drive growth across the Pittsburgh, PA region. You will build relationships with mechanical contractors, engineers and owners, develop business plans with a Regional Manager, and lead project pursuit from inception to close.

Travel, strong communication, and a mechanical aptitude are essential as you present Victaulic products, conduct demonstrations, and work remotely with minimal supervision to achieve targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Sales experience with value-added products/services preferred in commercial construction or mechanical products.
• Willingness to travel, including overnight travel as required by territory.
• Ability to work in adverse weather conditions and handle equipment weighing up to 50+ pounds.

Responsibilities

• Learn Victaulic's full product line and understand how our solutions help customers complete projects on time and within budget.
• Master grooved mechanical pipe joining methods and competitive methods to overcome objections.
• Understand construction cycles and stay current on market trends and competitor activity.
• Partner with Regional Sales Manager to develop a business plan with sales goals and strategies.
• Execute all phases of project pursuit from inception to final commissioning and follow-up.
• Develop relationships with mechanical contractors, engineers, and project owners in the territory.
• Coordinate activities with Victaulic distributors and other regional specialists to ensure the best customer experience.
