Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Territory Manager to develop and manage established and new customers by selling food and non-food items to achieve sales and profitability goals. You will own customer relationships and engage clients in value-added programs.

This role involves coordinating deliveries, driving growth, and leveraging resources to pursue top opportunities and new accounts. Travel to customers may be required, with lifting up to 75 lbs and a strong emphasis on service excellence.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of sales experience in foodservice or culinary/restaurant management considered equivalent.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, customer service orientation and strong presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Foster the customer relationship in a team-based selling model.
• Manage deliveries to the routing schedule and troubleshoot order issues.
• Communicate and collect accounts receivable per approved credit terms.
• Leverage resources to pursue top penetration opportunities and new accounts.
• Develop new business using market intelligence, leads from existing clients, and industry events.
• Know market conditions, products, competitors, prices and share insights with customers as added value.
• Travel to customers to ensure product delivery; lifting up to 75 lbs.
