Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Territory Manager to cultivate customer relationships and drive revenue across a defined geographic area. You will educate customers on ordering platforms, provide menu consultations, and tailor pricing strategies to help clients grow profits.

Your role emphasizes team-based selling, collaboration with marketing and supply chain, and identifying new business opportunities through market intelligence and trade shows. The position requires active field coverage and travel.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of sales experience preferred.
• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and clean MVR.
• Foodservice/culinary/hospitality experience preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to build internal and external relationships and cold call to develop new business.

Responsibilities

• Own and nurture the customer relationship in a team-based selling model.
• Educate customers on ordering platforms and provide menu consultations, product recommendations and pricing strategies.
• Drive sales through impactful presentations and tailored approaches; manage time and territory.
• Collaborate with Specialists, marketing, supply chain and customer service to ensure seamless product delivery.
• Identify prospective customers using market intelligence, directories, leads from existing clients, and trade shows.
• Manage deliveries to the routing schedule; troubleshoot delivery issues.
• Stay informed on market conditions, product innovations, and competitor activity.
• Travel within assigned territory to visit customers and conduct follow-ups.
