Job summary

Uniti in Dalton, GA seeks a Customer Service Technician to install and repair residential and business telecom services (telephone, internet, video). You will train with tools and test equipment and recommend products to meet customer needs.

You will work indoors and outdoors, climb poles, drive safely, and complete required safety training. The role reports to the Manager of Local Operations and requires basic tech/maths skills and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Basic technology and math skills required.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Ability to distinguish colors for color-coded cabling.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work aloft.
• Must complete required safety training.
• Ability to work varied schedules including day/evening/weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair residential and business telecom services.
• Train and use tools/test equipment for multiple technologies.
• Recommend products/services to meet customer needs.
• Work on buried and aerial plant requiring pole/climbing.
• Safely operate and maintain company vehicle.
• Work inside and outside environments.
• Complete safety training and follow regulations.
• Report to the Manager of Local Operations.
