Job summary

Uniti’s team of Customer Service Technicians are vital to delivering telecom services to homeowners, small businesses, and partners across the United States. You will install, repair, and support multiple technologies while maintaining safety standards and vehicle readiness.

This role requires basic tech skills, a valid driver’s license, color discrimination ability, and physical capacity for ladder work, lifting, and extended hours. Union bidding applies to this position.

Qualifications

• Basic technology and math skills required.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Ability to distinguish colors in use of color-coded cable.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work aloft.
• Willingness to complete required safety training.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair residential and business communications services including telephone, internet, and video.
• Train and work with tools and test equipment to support multiple technologies and network designs.
• Recommend products and services to resolve customers’ needs.
• Work in buried and aerial plant requiring pole climbing and ladder use.
• Safely operate and maintain the company service vehicle and work in indoor/outdoor environments.
• Complete safety training and follow safety standards.
