Job summary

Ledcor Technical Services, a North American telecommunications provider, is seeking a Field Operations Technician in the United States. You will perform installation, repair, configuration and testing of MACD on Nokia, Infinera and Ciena equipment, and support optical, electrical, voice and data services.

Travel with a company vehicle and work in diverse environments. The role emphasizes customer service, on-site installation and repair of copper and fiber cabling, and troubleshooting hardware

Qualifications

• 5+ years in telecommunications, business installation and service for electronics, appliances, security, and/or cabling.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, customer-focused service to every client.
• Resolve customer issues calmly and professionally using de-escalation techniques.
• Perform on-site installation and repair of internet services, copper and fiber cabling, demarc extensions, and rack-mounted networking equipment.
• Diagnose technical problems and implement solutions, including running new cable and replacing hardware components.
• Follow Ledcor's safety standards and ensure proper use of vehicles, tools and equipment.
