Job summary

Charter Communications, doing business as Spectrum, is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to connect communities with Spectrum’s high‑speed data and communication services. You will visit residential leads, perform needs analyses, and present solutions while meeting sales targets.

The role requires travel, evenings/weekends, and a strong drive to succeed. You’ll earn a base salary plus incentives with total compensation potential over $100,000 annually, including commissions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years sales or relevant work experience.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Engaging interpersonal skills and strong customer focus.
• Ability to travel locally and to work evenings/weekends.
• Familiarity with consumer and business tech devices and software.

Responsibilities

• Acquire new residential customers by visiting assigned leads and presenting Spectrum's offerings.
• Conduct needs analyses to tailor product recommendations.
• Present sales proposals aligned with customer needs and Spectrum solutions.
• Complete all required sales documentation, including entry and reporting.
• Participate in sales meetings and training to support goals.
• Achieve monthly sales targets across services.
• Monitor competitors' activities in the territory.
