Job summary

Spectrum is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to connect with prospective residential customers and present Spectrum’s high-speed data and communication solutions in their community.

The role focuses on needs analyses, tailored proposals, and achieving targets while working outdoors most of the time. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel are essential, with base pay plus incentives driving total compensation over $100,000.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.
• Ability to travel to assigned territories and work evenings/weekends.
• Fluent reading/writing/speaking of English.

Responsibilities

• Acquire new residential customers by visiting assigned leads and introducing Spectrum’s offerings.
• Conduct consultative needs analyses to tailor product recommendations for each prospective customer.
• Present compelling sales proposals that align with customer needs and highlight Spectrum’s solutions.
• Complete all required sales documentation accurately, including dispositioning, order entry and reporting.
• Participate in sales meetings and training sessions to support team goals and development.
• Achieve monthly sales targets across high-speed data, mobile, landline phone and video services.
• Monitor competitors’ activities within your territory and communicate insights to your manager.
