Job summary

Spectrum is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to connect residents with high-speed data and communications services through face-to-face interactions. You will visit assigned leads, conduct needs analyses, and present tailored proposals to drive growth and customer satisfaction.

The role involves extensive outdoor work (about 90%), evenings/weekends as needed, and a competitive base salary plus incentives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must read/write/speak English proficiently.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to travel to assigned territories, including inclement weather.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
• Valid driver's license and access to reliable personal vehicle.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Acquire new residential customers by visiting assigned leads and introducing Spectrum's offerings.
• Conduct needs analyses to tailor product recommendations for each prospective customer.
• Present compelling sales proposals that align with customer needs and highlight Spectrum's solutions.
• Complete all required sales documentation accurately, including dispositioning, order entry and reporting.
• Participate actively in sales meetings and training sessions to support team goals and professional development.
• Achieve monthly sales targets across high-speed data, mobile, landline phone and video services.
• Monitor competitors' activities within your territory and communicate relevant information to your manager.
